Realizing that there are probably too many menu items and too many links, I have been working thru cleaning up and simplifying the menus. I think the changes I have made today make more sense now. Also I have made the family trees a little easier to get to and it now looks similar to the old site. Just go click on Caperton Project from the main menu then Family Trees from the top menu and you should see the listing of the family trees.

The Mesage Board or "Forum" is now live! I am hoping this will become the center of all conversations that are Caperton in Nature. For those that remember the old message board, this one is far superior and more tightly integrated into the website. However, there is still a risk of Spamming, therefore I have also completed a registration module. For those that just wish to view and read, you will be able to do just about everything on the new site that you used to do on the old site. If you are willing to register there are a few more perks. Once you register, you will be able to, view the Family Tee pages, reply and post topics on the forums; upload family information and GedComs if you wish, comment on these Blog postings; and receive the CAperton Family Newsletter (if I ever get around to writing htem!). AND REGISTRATION IS FREE! So if you are interested, click the Registration link towards the top of the page and I will see you on the inside!

I have begun updating the woefully neglected DNA Project Pages. The Intro and Project Description pages have been updated to include both male and female testing for the DNA Project. I have added a page about the different Testing available (About Test Kits). There is a new page called DNA Tutorial which gives a very brief overview of the testing available to Men and women. Still to do includes adding the several results that have already been returned, and an Frequently Asked Questions page that is specific to the DNA Project.
