The Vital Records Library of Caperton.info houses Vital Record collections related to the Caperton name. These resources include hundreds of images and/or extractions of actual documents. A large number of these documents are copies that have been donated to Caperton.info by fellow cousins. If you have any documents that you are willing to donate copies of, please email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Bible pages - Bible pages may contain Birth, Marriage and Death pages are a very underrated resource. These pages contain entries that were typically filled out at the time of the event by a member of the family, and so, were fairly accurate to date.;

Births - The Births section of the Caperton.info Library houses extractions and, when possible, images of birth records found in the US. Note that this section is not yet online.

Marriage Records - This section contains extractions of marriage records from around the United States. Many of these extractions include a link in the database to an image of the source record.

Death Records - The Death Records Collection of The Caperton Society is distinct from the Obituary collection in that it houses extractions and, when possible, images of death records rather than the Obituary found in a newspaper.

Wills - The Wills Archives contains copies of many wills written by Caperton's. I am in the process of transcribing these wills.

VA Land Grants - This collection of Virginia land grants and patents is housed in the Archives at the Library of Virginia. It is also available on microfilm. Virginia State Land Office. Grants A-Z, 1-124, reels 42-190; Virginia State Land Office. Grants 125- , reels 369-.
