Donald has those documents posted on the site. I forgot which catergory they are in. If I remember right, the name is spelled Caperton and Capidan in the documents. I was thinking that I should do like they do on crime shows...make a big board with all the evidence and try to link them...lol! I was trying to find your email address to talk to you so I am glad you are finding me here!

This is interesting. I will see if I can find it. John was in the 18th, but maybe someone missed the 1 before the 8. I hope it isn't John because that would mean I was on the wrong track! I am still confusing myself about the Catholics and Protestant thing. I think Church of Ireland was Protestant, maybe Presbyterian, so they were always persecuting and fighting the Catholics, Whiteboys, (who appear to resemble our Klu Klux Klan, of which my grandfather sadly was a member of in Arkansas) and the Jacobites. I have found a Catholic Paternium Caperton in Ireland getting married too. So the Capertons are quite a mix!

This is the transcription of the document from www.findmypast.com . I will post the official page if I can, but I can't find the entry because of poor quality.

Anything new on there? Everytime I go back to that site, there is nothing new at least on Caperton. The last few times I did I wasn't able to find the Inverness documents either so I am glad they are still there. If this was the John on the Freemason Register, he would have been about 20.
