I wanted to open up an area to discuss a "Society Membership" level. White Rose Web Design has and will continue to absorb the cost of the website. However, there are several areas I would like to explore which unfortunately take money and which is outside the pervue of White Rose. So I thought I would post here to let others comment. Here is what I would like to explore:

The Caperton Journal - this would be a formal print publication that would be issued 2-4 times per year. In addition to printing costs there would be postage costs as well
Hi Resolution Archive - I have a vast number of documents that I am publishing to the site, however, due to bandwidth issues, in most cases the document being published is a much lower resolution image than I have available. In some cases it does not matter, in others it matters a great deal. I would like to be able to save these documents in an area on the site, but there can't be unlimited access due to the cost of the bandwidth.
Society Pin - Every society needs a pin!
eMail/Webspce - Other perks that could be made available at a minimal cost could include a caperton Society email address and possible subdomain webhosting of your own family genealogy pages.

As you can see from the list above, these ideas will all take financial support to happen, and there may be other ideas as well, but bear in mind none of these Ideas are past the "Idea" stage So I am opening this up to all registered members to provide input. It is also important to remember that it would not affect any existing areas of the site. The collections availability would stay as it is. If you have other suggestions for Society Membership please speak up!

RE: Society Membership Level
I want to congratulate you on what appears to be and (I'm certain) will evolve even more into a superb family forum and genealogical website! I look forward to participating in more discussions and sharing as I have more time, and as other members become more active.

Stephen ("Appinhighlander") Michael
