John Carpenter son of William B-7 was created by gershwin
I am a direct descendent of John through his son William (B-7) its taken me a couple years to piece it together

John - A-1
William - B-7
John W - C-77
Alexander C - D776
Lena J - E7763
Richard B - F #?
Richard K - G #?
Stephen H - H #?

Which makes John Caperton my 5 (x) grandfather. Let me know if anyone else is on this side of the tree.

Hi Stephen,
Welcome to the Society! While I am descended from James (B-8 ) there are actually quite a few members that descend from the same line as you do, though I believe you are one of the first to descend from Lena. Any information you are willing to share on your line is greatly appreciated!

I am a direct descendant of John Woods Caperton, son of William H. Caperton (B-7). John is my 3 great grandfather and his daughter Martha S. Caperton is my 2 great grandmother. I am looking to find someone who is related to this line of Capertons. Martha S. Caperton married Carlton A. Lindsey about 1843, I am guessing somewhere in Mississippi. Cannot find records of this marriage.
